The Margins Mini Dress showcases the deeper exploration into zero waste pattern cutting explored by KATALYST over the past few seasons. After the success of the Margins Dress in SS25/26, we have decided to bring it back with a shorter hemline for AW26.
It was developed from the original bias dress with the desire to create a zero waste dress that flattered the feminine shape and produced a surprising silhouette. Showcasing the familiar high round neckline, back keyhole and bound armholes, where the Margins Mini Dress really gets interesting is below the waist.
The volume cut away to create this sleek bodice falls to the skirt without modification of the shape. The skirt produces a hemline that varies in length and shape that is punctuated by two fine rows of orange stitching along the asymmetric hem.
The resulting floaty volume is perfect to dress up or down. Made from a cozy brushed cotton, showcasing a vibrant plaid pattern of electric blue, orange, and grey, with a fine stripe of olive green. Finished with a keyhole at the back neck and a metal button.

The Quadrant Skirt embodies the KATALYST sentiment of highlighting the beauty of fabric in its entirety. Made from large geometric pieces, this low-waste skirt features the full width of the material right down to olive and navy threads of the selvedge on the hem.
Beyond experimental construction, the Quadrant Skirt is an adjustable piece with a sleek fit over the hips with increasing volume towards the variegated midi length hem. It fastens with an invisible zipper and drawstring at the waist which allows the skirt to sit low on the hips or cinched up around the waist.
This iteration is made from a cozy brushed cotton, showcasing a vibrant plaid pattern of electric blue, orange, and grey, with a fine stripe of olive. A brilliant chartreuse stripe accents the side of the skirt from waist to hem. It drapes beautifully, is resistant to creasing and is breathable for all climates.
This style is finished with silver eyelets and cord ends.

The Anchor Vest is new for AW26, a unisex layering piece whose versatility will take you from the transition into cooler months, through Winter and into the Spring.
This pullover vest can be worn either way around with a keyhole on one side and a round neck on the other. Arched casings centred on the front and back can be ruched with electric blue ties and toggles or left loose for a boxy fit. Side splits give freedom of movement and multiple possibilities for styling.
This piece is made from a chunky Japanese deadstock wool blend rib knit in a warm ginger tone. It is soft on skin, so it can be worn with a short sleeve top underneath without irritation. Brushed cotton has been used for casings on the inside for comfortable wear.
Keyhole at neckline is fastened with a small hook and eye, for a subtle finish that blends in when worn open or closed. Ties are finished with metal cord ends and toggles.

The Twist Top is an asymmetrical draped tank top with a flattering boat neckline and asymmetric shape that wraps around the body to show off intriguing tension lines and a flattering wide neckline.
This style is finished with mitred corners that join the back and front and curved side seams - a nod to the construction of our Handkerchief top. It is designed to be worn either way around, each creating a different line across the collarbones.
Made from a silky rayon/elastane jersey for stretch and comfort in a deep charcoal grey. Limited quantities.

New for AW26, the Crumple Hairclip showcases experimental form and a celebration of materials, two core elements of the KATALYST design philosophy. This accessory was developed as a styling piece for the campaign shoot, and grew into something impactful in its own right.
Made from a deadstock cotton fabric that has been set with starch and adhesive into a sculptural, pleated form.
This structure is hand stitched to a metal clip for easy wear and secure grip.

The Axis Bolero is a versatile layering piece designed as an accompaniment to the Twist Top for transeasonal styling.
This piece is a set of 2 sleeves that fasten across the back to create an adjustable bolero that can be layered under and over a variety of outfits. Perfect for unpredictable weather and transeasonal times when paired with a short sleeve dress or top.
Pleats in the shoulder and a twist across the back allow the bolero to fit snuggly across your shoulders for a flattering fit. This style is finished with mitred corners and limited seams to create a sleek, streamlined look. The adjustable buttoned strap allows you to adjust to 8 different lengths.

After years of research, development and making custom fit trousers for many clients, Kate has mastered the art of making jeans that fit you just right. Taking the celebrated qualities of the Curve Jeans, we’ve developed the Catchment Jeans. They are a more relaxed fit with a bit more room in the waist, and a longer and wider leg.
The familiar curved panel forms an arched seam across the hips back and front that emphasises the billowed leg shape. This style has been finished with double topstitching that is mirrored in the trousers’ back pockets. This season’s iteration features two tones of denim with the back right panel defining the curved seam in indigo blue and subtle electric blue stitching accents.
Most of the jeans are made with a sturdy deadstock Helmut Lang denim in a charcoal tone and the accent is an indigo blue Japanese deadstock denim of similar weight. this style brings the durability of jeans but with an elevated twist. The base cloth is woven with rich midnight blue and white threads, forming a variegated textile with a dark wash. The irregular flecks of white throughout the deep midnight base is a detail that can be appreciated up close.
These pants feature internal waist adjusters with a buttonhole extension at the inside of the waistband to allow for a flexible fit throughout the lifespan of the garment. A heavy duty fly zip closure is featured at the centre front waist with a button fastening.

New for AW26, the Flux Shirt is an adaption of the classic Raglan Dress Shirt. This iteration boasts more versatility - we’ve added a collar and shorter sleeves, but kept the swooping seam lines, sculptural sleeves and the ties that can transform the silhouette of the garment.
Like its precessessor, the Flux Shirt hides a myriad of details within its deceptively simple form. A defining feature is the raglan sleeve construction — which contours over the shoulder and elbow to create a gently curved shape for a soft silhouette.
An extended back panel finishes in a subtle curve, reminiscent of traditional dress shirts and allowing you additional styling options. For further versatility, a casing and ties travel from the front hem, up towards the waist and around the back, allowing the wearer to completely transform their silhouette. The shorter sleeve maintains its sculpted shape and is finished with a curved cuff panel.
The Flux Shirt is made from a crisp navy cotton shirting with a fine twill weave. Electric blue casings on the inside of the garment are a thoughtful detail for just the wearer to enjoy unless worn open. Ties are finished with metal cord ends.
