The Twist Top originated in AW25 when putting together a complimentary garment purely for a photoshoot that could be styled with statement pieces and allow them to shine. Only after its creation did the simple beauty of this top become apparent, showcasing the playful draping and subtle thoughtful details that are key to the brand.
The Twist Top is an asymmetrical draped tank top with a flattering boat neckline and asymmetric shape that wraps around the body to show off intriguing tension lines and a flattering wide neckline.
This style is finished with mitred corners that join the back and front and curved side seams - a nod to the construction of our Handkerchief top. It is designed to be worn either way around, each creating a different line across the collarbones.
Made from 100% cotton jersey for stretch and comfort in a brilliant tomato red.
The Twist Top is a freeform garment that will sit differently on each body shape.

The Windcatcher Pant was born from a desire to create a long pant that was cool enough to wear in Summer, versatile from occasion to occasion at an accessible price.
This new style for SS25/26 is a unisex fit wide leg pant that is super adjustable at the waist. The seamless sides and generous inverted box pleats create a clean line down the leg, with lots of room for movement.
The structured waistband features 4 straps and buckles for maximum adjustability without the casual look of elastic or gathering. The fly front, deep side pockets and back patch pockets further add to the Windcatcher’s practicality.
Made from a deadstock cupro/cotton blend with a touch of elastane for extra comfort - this fabric is lightweight, smooth to touch and designed to fade and wear as you wear it.

Showing off the signature tomato red foam strapping that is key to SS25/26, the Banana Bag offers a statement bag that is practical, versatile and interchangeable.
The base is made from the edges of the Midnight Denim, first seen in AW25, utilising the unused offcuts that feature the selvedge of the denim. The shape of this bag was fashioned from this existing elongated shape to create a curved bag with a surprising amount of room inside.
Its final form features the selvedge along the panel lines of the bag and 5 generous pleats across the front and back.
Tomato red foam strapping is threaded through D-rings on either end, with the ability to double over for a shorter handle or single layered for a longer cross-body look. The strap can be secured with a double knot, becoming its own statement feature of the bag
The Banana Bag’s more petite sister uses the same strap mechanism, allowing them to be stacked together on one strap for even more storage space.

The Margins Dress showcases the deeper exploration into zero waste pattern cutting featured in SS25/26.
It was developed from the original bias dress with the desire to create a zero waste dress that flattered the feminine shape and produced a surprising silhouette. Showcasing the familiar high round neckline, back keyhole and bound armholes, where the Margins Dress really gets interesting is below the waist.
The volume cut away to create this sleek bodice falls to the skirt without modification of the shape. The skirt produces a hemline that varies in length and shape that is punctuated by two fine rows of tomato red stitching along the asymmetric hem.
The resulting floaty volume is perfect to dress up or down for the Summer. Made from a lovely lightweight cotton twill, showcasing a plaid pattern of creams and sandy beige, with a fine stripe of cornflower blue providing some definition to the neutral colour palette.
Finished with a keyhole at the back neck and a deep brown vintage button.

A new offering for SS25/26, the Volley Polo is an amalgamation of several core KATALYST styles and a nod to the uncanny layering illusion of business collars sewn into sweaters from the 2000s.
This new style takes the square neckline and overlapping side splits of the Unisex Smock Top and the structure of the Box Blouse, combining it with a polo placket to create a sporty, sophisticated and versatile shirt.
The collar has been converted from a two-piece to one for a more relaxed feel that compliments the breezy side splits. The square neckline wide mitred hems and sleeves are framed by monochromatic black stitching to highlight the finer details within this garment. The hidden placket is fastened with 4 silver snap closures.

Following the success of the Curve Jeans from last season, we’ve adapted them to a lightweight short for Summer.
The Curve Shorts are a unisex fit that feature its predecessor's mid rise and wide leg and are cropped at the knee. A curved panel forms an arched seam across the hips back and front that emphasises the billowed leg shape. This style has been finished with cream double topstitching that is mirrored in the trousers’ back pockets.
Made from a midweight linen/viscose twill, the Curve Shorts are cool and breathable and resistant to excessive creasing. A heavy duty fly zip closure is featured at the centre front waist with a button fastening.

The Pinnacle Bralette is a soft and comfortable underlayer that mirrors key KATALYST signatures of thoughtful cut and surprising subtle details.
Wide over the shoulders for more flexible fit over the bust and extra comfort with silver sliders for adjustable strap length and adjustable fit across the back. Made from a deadstock cotton jersey in natural and soft satin lingerie elastic frame the bralette - available in lemon yellow or white. Wire free.

This season’s iteration features a super lightweight cotton twill plaid with base colours of cream and beige with fine stripes of navy and cornflower blue that bring definition to the pattern.
This version is cropped above the knee with the signature frayed hem, and has adjustable ties on the sides to create a different silhouette. The dress’s bias cut hugs the body and moulds over your curves for a flattering silhouette.
This sleek and comfortable dress is great for layering under or over.
It has been finished with a frayed hem and keyhole closure at the back neck. Hem and ties feature a contrast tomato red stitching as a nod to the season’s core colour palette.

The Handkerchief Top is a celebration of Kate’s textile-focused design process and playful manipulation of shapes.
Derived from two simple squares of fabric and undulating lines of elastic, this top moulds to your body whilst simultaneously reacting against it to create a unique silhouette.
This black cotton shirting is rich in colour and has a luxurious sateen finish. It’s crisp but soft texture responds beautifully to the gathers and folds of this style.
As a versatile, lightweight top it’s comfortable to wear in the summer or can be layered over a skivvy for cooler temperatures. It can be worn with either side at the front.

Katalyst’s signature meandering design lines and exploration of how they interact with the body has continued this season in the Apron Top.
Adapted from the Apron Dress, production offcuts have been cut into bias binding and formed casings and ties that curve and twist around the front, allowing the wearer to cinch under the bust for a flattering silhouette.
This piece has a high halter neck, shaping towards the underarm and ties to secure in the back. The Apron Top is cool and light, barely touching the back, making it the perfect Summer top whilst still providing support and coverage.
With adjustable fit at the side and under the bust, the wearer has multiple styling options fit for a variety of body types.
This colourway has been made from an upcycled cotton twill, produced by The New Denim Project, entirely made from offcuts of garment production. It has a lovely drape to it and a flecked natural appearance. A feast for the eyes, this is accented with a collection of striped and check cottons on the casings and ties.

Originally developed in early 2025 from a dress Kate personally made for a wedding, the Quilted Dress was patched together and draped on the stand to create an asymmetric, low back and floor length piece. From this experimentation and play with silhouette, it was refined for SS25/26 to create an accessible option that celebrated the flattering cut and unexpected shape of the original.
This dress is cut on the bias with jutting angles creating volume that falls toward the feet in scattered places. Outward facing french seams frame the angular panels of the dress, drawing the eye around each intersection. Fine rouleau straps hang from the shoulders and frame the asymmetric line of the lower back. The Quilted Dress features a straight line across the chest and is secure on the sides, balancing elegance with comfort. Dress is lined with short slip layer in !00% cotton voile.
Made from a smoky grey silk/cotton voile with black and dark red stripes woven through, this dress follows a KATALYST code of showcasing the selvedge of the fabric. In this instance throughout the undulating hemline, peppered in with frayed raw edges

One of the key textural inspirations of SS25/26 is featured prominently here in the Ether Belt
Inspired by tubular foam originally sourced for a sculpture project in 2024, Kate wanted to use this excess material to bring texture and fun into the collection.
This foam has been encased in a bright tomato red cotton jersey and finished with a silver circular and rectangular rings to form an adjustable belt
Fits in belt loops to add a pop of colour to the Curve Shorts, sitting on the hips over the matching Twist Top or used to cinch in at the waist, this piece is designed for play - a bold accessory that is texturally satisfying for the wearer.

The Handkerchief Top is a celebration of Kate’s textile-focused design process and playful manipulation of shapes. Derived from two simple squares of fabric and undulating lines of elastic, this top moulds to the body whilst simultaneously reacting against it to create a unique silhouette.
This variation on the KATALYST favourite is made in a light and airy silk/cotton organza that is crisp and responds well to the gathers and folds of this style. This material has a sand-coloured sheer base with a white and black fine stripe woven through.
For this variation, we have added a second layer of the silk/cotton underneath, turned 90 degrees to create a subtle check pattern for those who look closely. This also provides some modesty for the semi-sheer textile without losing its floatiness.
The selvedge is showcased at the armhole of the top and along the hem of the underlay, a nod to the often unseen details of a fabric.
As a versatile, lightweight top it’s comfortable to wear in the summer or can be layered for cooler temperatures. It can be worn with either side at the front.

Taking the undulating shirred lines and texture from the KATALYST favourite Handkerchief Top, the Suspension Top extends these features into a short sleeved shirt for SS25/26.
Slightly cropped with sleeves that hit mid bicep, this style tapers in at the waist and the hem finishes just above the hip bones. With meandering lines of elastic across the whole piece, it has a flexible and comfortable fit.
The Suspension Tee is made from a fine 100% silk yoryu - a fine chiffon with a subtle crinkle effect - in two tones of mushroom and chocolate brown. This fabric is lightweight and perfect for Summer and is complimented by the volume and gathering created by the elastic channels throughout. Great for travelling with no need to iron and folds up into almost nothing.

With the same variegated asymmetrical handkerchief hem the original was praised for upon its release for AW25, this new version is a flirty length perfect for Summer.
Made from 100% cotton in a vibrant strawberry red with a large white window check woven in - the check pattern accentuates the angular panels of this low waste skirt. This fabric’s crispness creates jagged panels that shoot out at the hip and fall towards the floor like asymmetric godets.
This skirt is flexible in fit, with an invisible zip in seam for ease of dressing and a drawstring for adjustability.

A new style for AW25, the Quadrant Skirt embodies the KATALYST sentiment of highlighting the beauty of fabric in its entirety. Made from large geometric pieces, this low-waste skirt features the full width of the material right down to the pink and blue of the selvedge on the hem.
Beyond experimental construction, the Quadrant Skirt is an adjustable piece with a sleek fit over the hips with increasing volume towards the variegated midi length hem. It fastens with a drawstring at the waist which allows the skirt to sit low on the hips or cinched up around the waist.
This iteration is made from a black deadstock cotton/modal twill. It drapes beautifully, is resistant to creasing and is breathable for all climates.
This style is finished with silver eyelets and cord ends.
