Originally developed in 2018, the Box Blouse is a tried and tested favourite within the Katalyst range. The design has evolved over time but the core principles remain.
In essence the Box Blouse is a collared short sleeve shirt with a boxy, relaxed fit, accentuated by a generous pleat in the back.
The iconic flap version features an added element of drama. The detached fabric overlays act as a modesty cover for lightweight materials. On heavier fabrics they add a notable jacket-like feel.
For the times you’d like a shirt with a bit less drama, you can also opt for the paired-back version which does away with the flaps.
The Box Blouse is offered in femme and masc variations — the femme cut has narrower shoulders and body with slightly shorter sleeves.
