What started as an endeavour to create pants to meet Kate’s own needs,
quickly turned into years of research and development. The result has become one of the most popular items in the Katalyst range.
The custom fit program allows you to have a pair of trousers tailored to your specific requirements. How often have you wished that your pants were just a bit different? This gives you the chance to make those changes.
Trousers are offered in two basic shapes; a relaxed wide leg with front pleats and tapered leg with darted waist.
These form the base of your trousers, with adjustments being made to your requirements. Both styles are offered with optional key loop and waist adjusters.

the process

To begin we have an initial consultation to focus on gathering your measurements. At the same time we will discuss features, fabrics and styles you’re interested in.

From this, a personalised sample will be made, based off the measurements and discussions. With a fitting of the sample, we will check how things compare to your expectations. At this time, you will be able to give feedback for any adjustments.

Once the final details are confirmed, your custom pair of trousers will be hand made in the selected fabric.

Because most people fall in love with their perfect pants, your custom pattern can be saved and re-made with different fabrics!
Any future pairs ordered in the same cut will be charged at a lower rate.
